I have known Sara now for well over a decade as we were at high school together, so when she contacted me to photograph her wedding day I was chuffed as it was the perfect opportunity for a catch up. It was also wonderful to meet her other half, a man that keeps her laughing and loved, and nice to see her so settled and happy.
The decor was simple and elegant, the couple excited to get the day get going and their friends and family happy to be a part of such a celebration.
The venue was beautiful and I was in my element when I saw the conference centre, what a magnificent building! Wanting something a bit different to contrast I also found a pocket of forest to create a green fairytale theme to go with the structure of the urban building. It worked beautifully!
It was a day that was hard for Sara and her family as her grandmother passed away between ceremony and reception. I was so impressed with their strength and support for one another and I firmly believe your gran left then Sara as she knew your family were all together and surrounded by those who could hold them up at a difficult time.
