Kimba & Robyn, celebrating marriage. White Rock.

I have known Kimba and Robs as a couple for a few years now, and have watched their relationship evolve and grow. The one thing that has stood out to me is how despite lifes ups and downs, the goods and bads, they have grown through it together and drawn closer. Thats what marriage is all about, allowing one another the room to change and grow whilst nurturing the relationship, that love and bond that brought you to one another in the first place. On your wedding day that love shone from both of your faces.
I wish you two all the very best and look forward to continuing to watch you grow together in love, persevere in storms and share in Gods blessings.

Rees & Sarah. Love and laughs on the Zambezi banks.

WOW! Thats pretty much all i can say about Rees and Sarahs wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous with such fantastic people, festivities and enthusiasm. I just lived working with them on making memories to last.

Where and how did it all begin?
Rees and I met for the first time in primary school in Kitwe, Zambia, I was seven and Rees was eight. We then went our separate ways for high school in South Africa. Rees and I then met  again during University, Rees was at Rhodes University and I was at the University of Johannesburg. I would say it was love at first sight!

How did the BIG question happen?
Rees and I had been dating over 4 yrs and he surprised me with a trip to jhb to go and see my mum as I was getting rather homesick. It just so happened that this trip would coincide with the springboks playing an international game in jhb and so I bought tickets for us to go watch, when I told Rees about this he wasn't too chuffed and told me had already made other plans for that date. We went down to jhb and a few days after we arrived, rees handed me an envelope to open, on the front it said that apparently this place was sinking more and more every year and that we better go and see it before it disappears for good. Inside my envelope was a surprise trip to the Maldives! Wow what an amazing man, I thought perhaps he would propose on this trip but slowly began to lose hope as he only had negative things to say about marriage the whole time! On our second last night, he booked a private dinner on the beach under the stars and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! The most amazing night ever and of course I said yes.

Your vision for the wedding day?
Our vision for our wedding was a simple, beautiful day, surrounded by all our favorite people and the incredible beauty that only the African bush and the Zambezi river can offer.

Your most memorable part of the day?
The entire day was such a momentous and memorable occasion that's its difficult to pinpoint a specific moment. Rees says that his most memorable occasion was our recession down the aisle with all our favorite people watching us, mine would have to be a tie between our first kiss and our fist dance!
